I’m so glad you’ve come this far and I hope this is just the beginning of an amazing journey towards a healthier, happier and more energized life.
Whatever your specific goals are, I want to help you achieve them using my experience in holistic nutrition and wellness.
I am all about making “healthy” a way of life. To me, healthy living is more than fad dieting, Hollywood boot camp and the latest antioxidant berry from Costa Rica. It is not just for the wealthy and people who have too much time on their hands. Healthy living is a lifestyle choice that everyone should try because taking care of yourself from the inside is not only the best way to feel and look fabulous, it is the absolute best health insurance there is.
As a holistic health coach I look at the human body as the sum of many parts. My job is to identify the areas that are lacking attention and thus causing discomfort and often unhappiness. An unknown food allergy or too much time spent sitting behind a computer can have a domino effect on your entire well being. By treating you as a whole person, nourishing your body with whole foods, removing toxins and addictive substances, even managing stress – we are taking care of the underlying causes of weight-gain, fatigue and even disease – disease is basically dis-ease in the body.
Our bodies are dynamic organisms, constantly changing and evolving and each one of us is unique. Put simply, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healthy living. My goal is to find a solution for you that fits into your daily routine and that compliments your personality and outlook.
Find the foods that love you back!
As a model back in my native Norway, like so many others I focused too much on calories and staying skinny for the job. Health and happiness are sadly not given much importance in the fashion industry. After a few years of pushing myself too hard, exercising myself to exhaustion, relying on too much sugar and caffeine for energy and constantly comparing myself to all the other models, I crashed.
I hated what I was doing and what it was doing to me. I felt disconnected from my body, I was stressed and worst of all, I had flu-like symptoms all the time. None of the doctors I reached out to were able to explain why or help me.
So I started researching, reading and trying different approaches to health and healing. I experimented with it all: the Master Cleanse, being vegetarian, I even went vegan for a while. I ate raw food, did colonics and acupuncture. Each taught me something new about myself and my body.
Through working with a health coach who helped me implement the changes I needed for good, and by practicing yoga, I finally restored my body to full health. Since then I have been committed to helping others do the same.

“Working with Katrine was a wonderful and enlightening experience. She has a wealth of knowledge and she easily guided me through some lifestyle changes, one step at a time. As a result, I never felt overwhelmed, but rather empowered by what she had taught me and by the positive changes I was making.” – Kristen
“I am so grateful for my time with Katrine. I have never felt better in my life — about my body and about relationship with food. I came to see her because I realized that in my late twenties I had put on 15 pounds and didn’t really even know how to eat well. I lived on coffee and croissants and other types of take out food. I needed information and help. Katrine was able to get me on the right path, but more importantly she was able to notice habits and patterns within my relationship to food that had a negative impact on the rest of my life. Now I cook at home, I don’t have any more stomach issues, and I’ve shed most of that 15 pounds. My skin feels better, my hair feels better, and I feel I’m accomplishing more in my professional and personal life. Though it may have been vanity that brought me to Katrine, I left with all aspect of my life feeling nourished.”
“…What an amazing, inspiring and enlightening trip it has been. You have taught us so much, put us at ease and created a new language that we can share within our lives, especially around food, stress, exercise and relaxation. What a gift. Thank you so much Katrine.”

“Katrine is truly passionate about health and wellness, and not only does it show in her own healthy glow, but she translates that passion into a way of living that seems easy and desirable. Filled with jaw-dropping statistics; knowledgeable, not-your-run-of-the-mill information on nutrition; and easy-to-follow tips, Katrine makes health and wellness fun and engaging. It was a real eye opener to hear her talk about the foods we eat every day and how they could be impacting our health. She made it relevant to the challenges we face in a work environment and the choices we have for breakfast and lunch. Her approach is fluid and allows everyone to change their habits at a level that is appropriate for them.”
